Not long to go!

It's nearly time to hop on the plane - the whole team are flying out tonight via Doha and Dar Es Salaam to Mwanza. I am currently juggling my packing - complete with scrubs and colouring books n balloons to entertain the kids. I just had my first Malaria tablet and it reminded me to publicly thank the Travel Doctor in Fremantle who did not charge for their consultation when they heard I was travelling with Rafiki - good on you TM+VC!

I did also learn some Swahili today courtesy of my friend Trudy - "Safari njema" (safe travels) to the whole Rafiki Surgical team.
